But first take a look at the way it has helped me to develop some of the pages on this site. If you don't have a web–site already than you will have the choice to get one now.
I have re-designed this one without tables using the tutorials that you will soon be using.
You can get your very own Website Module at this site, one that will look just like the one I started out with. Once you see how it may benefit you in setting up your very own "Affiliate Home Based Business Marketing Site" I am sure you will want to take advantage of joining. Tools and Software
You will want to have the software listed below, ( but they are not neccessary to get started) I use them to check all my work before putting it online. Just click on each link to go to the sites and follow the instructions for installing them. I listed them here just in case you are like I was at first. I knew nothing about them when I started.

If you have trouble with installing any of the programs mentioned above you can visit the DevShed there you will find articles that will help you with these, the people there are able to point you in the right direction, with easy to understand articles.
I kept making mistakes installing the phpAmin until I went to this site How to setup phpMyAdmin and after reading the article, I was able to do it after two attempts. Book mark the page so that you will have at your convience just in case you need to read it.
Why am I telling you this? Because if you are just getting started you need to know what it is going to take to keep your site up and running, and how to make sure that you have a fresh copy of it for when the site goes down, or some hacker hasks in and breaks it and I want to help the beginner to get off to a good start. I had to research this information on my own and helping you to cut down on your research time will help you to get started faster .It will happen! It has happened to me even while I was building this page just for you. Before I could finish with what I have just written my site went down, which gave me time to rewrite this while tech worked on the problem. I am going to be updating this page as I go through my notes, so check back often. Don't worry about making mistakes, you will make some, I did quite a lot, if you don't make mistakes you ain't doing nothing! This section updated Sept.1,2008.
You also will need a HTML editing tool, my favorite is the HTML–Kit which is a free editing tool. I use the registered version in order to have all the tools available for any extra developing needs. Such as being able to "Validate" any mark–ups. I noticed that the mark–up on the Dev Shev feeds do not validate, so I will have to change it with a CSS style sheet a little later.
Next is a list of CSS & HTML Tutorials that you will find to be very complete in details designed for beginners. This is the fun part of it, once you see it all come together, you will want to go right into the next phase, but I suggest that you just focus on getting your foundation in place so you will be able to build up on it.
After you have these items in place you are now ready to move into the arena of web–site design to promote all those Affiliate Prgrams that you are a member of with ease.
Okay here we go, I found this site to be a good one for the CSS and HTML layout of all your pages Maxdesign– CSS resources and tutorials for web designers and web developers. With this tutorial you will be able to design a basic web–site or make over the one you have. At the bottom you will see a list of books that are great for the beginner, which has cut my time spent researching down to about 25%, which gives me more time to get some work done. This section to be updated with more design sites that I also use, you may find helpful.

Planning Your Web–site

I can't help you with that as I don't know what you are going to be doing but you have enough information to get started with your layout. I wasn't planning to go live with so little information at this time, but I wanted to share this information with you, I am sure you will come up with a plan that will not just be a page with a lot of "Banners on it from top to bottom" You will have "Style"
Next thing I need to share though is the books that I read that will get you here if you are planning on designing your site and know nothing about how to go about it, these books are something you might want to check into. I have nothing to gain from telling you about these books as I did not see an Affiliate link at their site, ( "I Wish!") but here they are: Build Your Own Database Driven Website Using PHP & MySQL –Kevin Yank, you will want to know how to do this if you want to save money on list–building sites,you will come away with enough information just from this book alone to know how to build a list.
This next book accents that one: The PHP Anthology 101 Essential Tips, Tricks & Hacks – Davey Shafik,Matthew Weier O'Phinney, Kigaya Turmelle,Harry Fuecks, Ben Balo.–– Build Your OWN WEB Site the Right Way using HTML & CSS –IAN LLOYD, you should head on over to Sitepoint.com now and grab those. If you are a beginner then these books are for you.

You can find some extra help when you are ready to start building your php pages at Php Classes where there are plenty of php writers with articles to help you.
Until you get familar with classes I suggest you go there and create an account so you can keep up with new classes as they come out. There is always a new class it seems everyday. Even if you don't have any use for the ones that are there you will be able to learn how to create your own in time by studying those. If this all seems like a lot and to much for you at first just keep reading the material until it comes clear to you how it works. At the first I almost said forget this, but soon found out that the more I read the clearer it became. Once you begin to work with it, you will come to enjoy it. I will be updating this section also as I go through my notes, so check back often. I know that the reason my site was hacked and crashed was because of some "Guru" wants to take this information and put it in an PDF book and sell it to you don't buy it, it's right here and it's free to you. Save your money to buy material that you are going to need for other things. Some of this information will be in the books that you are already going to be buying, I just included it here.

The Totem Pole

Today is Sept 4, 2008, my site has been down for a week, and I think it is some "Guru" trying to steal this infomation and put it in a PDF book so he can sell ( they should have waited until I finished ) it to you but don't buy it bookmark this page and get it for free. That's why I wrote it, with you the beginner in mind, and for those that need it wheter beginner or novice but don't have this information. If you are going to do anything online you need a "web–site". I started work on this page July 12,2008 and I want to be able to present it to you as soon as I can but the site is still down.
