From here I am going to show you where to get leads, those Affiliate Programs that you are promoting from your "web'site" that you have been driving traffic to. Well most all of them have a back office or members area that allows you to see who has joined you, along with their email address. Most will have a email program built in so that you can send those signups a thank you note and offer to assist them if they need any. From there you will be able to keep in contact with them.
If they joined from your site you already have some idea of what they are looking to do, so you make contact with them along those lines, before you start sending them offers of other sites that you are promoting. Work with them right there where you are and then move on to other things. Don't start to spam them with every new program that comes out. Talk to them as if they are in the room with you. Get to know them, see what their needs are, and remember to check out what they have you may want to use. Don't promote, talk. Don't treat them as if they are dumb, and have to be lead by the hand, treat them with the utmost respect. And you will not only gain a business partner but a friend. Some will be business partners, some will just be customers you will have to know the difference.
You first want to build trust, and at the appropriate time you are going to be able to use that list. First create a CSV file ( comma seperated value ) in note pad. This will be your first email database, just in case the Affiliate program dosen't allow you download this file you will be able to do it manually, like so, open note pad and create a file called list, give it a csv extension, and save it in a folder in your Documents folder. Once that is done you will be able to add to it anytime you wish. In just a moment I am going to give you an example to try out for youself.
Be careful how you use that list as you want to be able to keep them with you so that every one benefits. Remember these are business partners as well as customers. You are going to have Affiliate Marketers that just want to promote Affiliate Sites, Customers just looking for products to buy( depending on your type of business ) then you are going to have business partners. You are going to want to have three newsletter that you will want to send to each group. One for those that are Affiliates with you, one for the business partners, one for the customers. If you are selling other peoples products than you won't have to worry about that to much right off. But you will have to have a newsletter to send to the Affiliates and Business partners. You don't want to leave your Affiliates that have joined you not knowing what to do. Always contact your downline.
Here are the values that you want to put in that file: open note pad and add this Subcriber ID, KEYWORD,NAME,EMAIL,SUBSCRIPTION DATE, 1,program subcribed to,Name of person subcribed,email of person subcribed,date person subcribed once you have done that save it as list.csv on your desktop. Now click open and you will get the idea. You will now have a list and know which program each person has joined, which you can check anytime on or off line. Which will give you better management of all your people. If you already know how to do this then you are a step ahead. Next after you have edited the fields, with the names you want for the list you want, import your list into your favorite email program. Now you can email them whenever you want to.
Now you are able to know who you need to contact and on what level you need to contact them on, if you have taken the time to know your contacts you will know what they want and are going to want, depending what it is you are into.
And no not everyone is going to want everything that you are promoting all the time, but there is something for everyone at sometime or nother. So create you pages so that you will be able to track how many times the page was visited, and you now have an idea what your newsletter for that page will be about. Take this page for instance, if it is visited by a certain number of people you would know that they are looking for ways to generate leads and how to handle them, so you would write a newsletter concerning the subject. Create a signup form for the newsletter enter them into your database, and write the newsletter, have it ready before hand.
